Project Overview

Sloterdijken Turns Off the Lights

To make the Sloterdijken area in Amsterdam energy-neutral by 2030, an ambitious campaign started between 2022 and 2023 to promote energy saving.

The three-step strategy ‘Project Accelerated Energy Saving’ consists of building route maps, climate settings, and this campaign: Sloterdijken doe(t) het licht uit (Sloterdijken Turns Off the Lights).

As the year draws to a close, it turns out that many buildings still have lights on while no one is present inside. This not only leads to unnecessary costs but also wastes a lot of energy.

Therefore, we call on dedicated energy savers and future-oriented entrepreneurs to turn off the lights.

Help the Magic Happen

Magic happens when we change reality simply by taking action. It happens when we work together — and that’s exactly what we’re doing again.

We fight waste and save costs and energy for tomorrow’s world.

So the question to all entrepreneurs who want to help the magic:
Do you turn off the lights at night as well?

"Every step we take to reduce energy consumption shows we are on the right path. By switching off lights in office and commercial buildings at night, we contribute to the world of tomorrow."

Become a driver for a sustainable Sloterdijken area and share Sloterdijken doe(t) het licht uit within your network!
